Meat on the Ledge/Meat Raffles/Are there any Vegan Alternatives?

The crowd in The Carpenters Arms, Fiskerton (just a few miles from Lincoln), have gathered in earnest to see which of the lucky villagers will go home with the meat raffle prize, the 'Butcher's Basket '! One can sense the anticipation in the air!

Does anyone know where they raffle veg, anywhere in deepest Brassica ?
